Office Assistant/Billing Clerk

Job description

Robinson Waste Services is seeking a professional office assistant/billing clerk. This candidate must have strong communication and customer service skills. Candidates should have billing/accounts receivable experience.  Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles is a plus for this position. Knowledge of Quickbooks, Microsoft Office and electronic billing is also a plus.


  • Reconciling billing accounts to the general ledger
  • Interfacing with the accounts receivable, credit/collections departments
  • Ensuring the accuracy of invoicing and all associated processes
  • Gain knowledge or waste and recycling industry
  • Manage bank deposits
  • Operate and manage billing/routing software


  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Experience using Quickbooks
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and related programs
  • Ability to operate and understand new software programs
  • Detail oriented and capable of documenting accounts
  • Ability to work under pressure
